What makes CURE "eco-friendly " ?"Waterless nail care saves up to 15 gallons of water per service.
What makes Cure “non-toxic”?By being a non-toxic studio, we pledge that all products used on clients or sold on our shelves will be free from ingredients that have been found to lead to toxic responses in humans. These ingredients include: phthalates, parabens, petroleum, asbestos, lead acetate, and coal tar. Additionally, all nail care products featured during studio services or sold at retail will be cruelty-free, meaning they were not tested on animals at any point during the production process. One of our preferred brands of choice OOO polish is lead bunny certified! Unfortunately, there are some chemicals that are necessary in the manicuring process, as they help with service efficacy. Both our gel and regular polishes are 7-Free at minimum. Meaning they are without the following harmful ingredients known to cause serious health problems: toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, and TPHP.
Do you reuse all your tools?Absolutely NOT! Here at Cure we are committed to providing the most sanitary manicure and pedicure experience possible to each and every client. You'll find the use of both reusable implements, such as metal foot files, cuticle nippers, nail clippers, and nail art brushes. In addition to disposable, or single-use, tools and items, such as nail files, wooden sticks, toe separators, flip flops, and clean up brushes.
How do you clean your reusable tools?Stainless steel and metal tools, after each use, are cleaned by scrubbing with hot water and antibacterial soap to remove all leftover debris. After patting dry, implements are placed inside of a medical-grade autoclave, which uses pressurized heat and steam to clean and sterilize them. All tools are then sealed inside a single-use sterilization pouch for your safety. In addition to an EPA certified hospital-grade liquid disinfectant on-hand as another method of disinfection for tables and chairs.Whether you get your nails done at Cure or elsewhere, you always have the right to ask how the salon disinfects their implements!
How early should I arrive for my appointment? We recommend that clients arrive at least 10 minutes before their appointment time. During this time you be asked to fill out the intake form to make sure that we provide the proper accommodations and select a polish color. If you think you may need additional time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Since we do book back-to-back appointments, we ask that all clients be ready to go when the scheduled appointment starts.
I’m running late, what should I do?"DUE TO COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS, PLEASE ARRIVE NO EARLIER THAN 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME. If you’re going to be more than ten minutes late, call us at (704)-777-1182 to make sure we can still accommodate your service(s). Appointments are no longer guaranteed 15 minutes after the start time. At 15 minutes after the appointment start time, a no-show fee (50% of remaining balance) will be charged to the credit card on file. Please refer to our cancellation policy for more information.
How do I ask for assistance when I’m having trouble making appointment ?We got you covered! Give us a call at (704)-777-1182 and we will schedule your appointment for you. We would also be delighted to provide a tutorial on how to book from our website.
What is the atmosphere like?We would describe our atmosphere with one word, Serenity - the state of being calm, peaceful, and untroubled. Trust us when we say Cure is not your average, traditional nail salon. We are more like a spa and a doctor's office mixed in one. You can sleep, chat, or just simply enjoy our peaceful atmosphere while we care for your hands and feet. Our motto is "Kick off your shoes and relax your feet"
Why the cancellation/Missed appointment fee?As a small business who pays their staff fairly, we require a deposit to hold all appointments. This card will be charged 50% of the remaining balance in the instance of a same day cancellation of the appointment, or in a no-show circumstance. We respect your time and understand things to come up. However, these fees allow us to compensate our service providers despite their lost appointments. Please note that we honor cancellations made at any time and up to 24 hours before appointment date. We ask that you please let us know as soon as possible of any changes in a timely manner. We will be happy to help you reschedule your appointment.
Your prices are a tab bit higher than the usual spa, why is that?"Our goal is to provide a luxury experience with healthier options which is the reason we are waterless. By doing so, we are providing products that are "toxic-free" and eco-friendly to us all.
Can I change method of payment at checkout?Absolutely! Upon checkout you can change which card you would like to charge or pay using cash.
